A guide to the best après spots in Meribel
For some of us, après ski is big part of enjoying a holiday in the snow (not for us season workers, of course) and dancing in your ski boots until the sun sets is something of a given, not to mention the rather tricky negotiation of the piste home afterwards if you choose to start the party up the mountain. It’s not for everyone of course, but for those of you visiting us on a Meribel chalet holiday may like to know, there’s quite a lot of options if you do fancy a few cool down drinks after a long day on the slopes.
The Rond Point – Handily just below the Rhodos mid point, the Ronny is always popular for its great outdoor heated seating area and après ski snacks to keep any hunger pangs at bay before you return to your catered Meribel chalet for dinner. There’s also great live music here, with favorites such as Max le Sax and The Cheerleaders turning the inside bar into a dance floor.
Straight from the Rond Point bar Meribel : Wednesday 27th February is going to be possibly the biggest apres of the season. Duke will be returning to The Ronnie to tear up apres in style! With Bubble & Crisp doing the warm up set you know it’s going to go down!
