As these figures increase and we learn more about the importance of our mental health, taking the time to improve our wellbeing has become more important than ever. Whilst skiing, you will not only benefit from increased vitamin D intake from being outside all day (thus counteracting depression and seasonal mood\u00a0disorders), but the &#8216;feel\u00a0good&#8217; chemicals in\u00a0your\u00a0body \u2013 endorphins and adrenaline \u2013 are heightened when doing an activity like\u00a0skiing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Surround_yourself_with_nature\"><\/span><strong>Surround yourself with nature <\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Skiing gets you outside in nature at a time of year you\u2019re usually tempted to hibernate.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers examined the benefits of a walk taken within nature or an urban setting. Benefits for those that took a nature walk were numerous compared to the other group. Decreased anxiety and negative self-talk, were just some of the benefits seen within the nature walkers.
