That&#8217;s why, we asked the team to share some of their best memories or a picture that sums up their season, taking them back to that<em> &#8216;season made&#8217; <\/em>moment.<\/p>\n<p>Katie McMillan has kindly shared her Seasonnaire Story, detailing the highs and lows of new adventures on her season in Meribel.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%E2%80%9CThe_best_months_of_my_life_in_Meribel%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>&#8220;The best months of my life in Meribel&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My season in Meribel working for Ski Basics for without question some of the best months of my life.\u00a0 I enjoyed every second of it and came back home with lifelong friends and memories! There are almost too many amazing memories to choose one to focus on. However, one of the most memorable days was in the first few weeks of arriving, Christmas Day!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"New_traditionsl\"><\/span>New traditions..l.<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Before joining Ski Basics and moving to Meribel, Christmas day was one of the things I was more concerned about.\u00a0 I have always been big on Christmas tradition and spending that time away from family and home was nerve-racking and I was worried Christmas wouldn\u2019t really feel like Christmas. I couldn\u2019t have been more wrong.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-3258 size-full lazyload\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.skibasics.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/Katie-2.jpeg\" alt=\"Christmas in Meribel\" width=\"640\" height=\"343\" title=\"\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/www.skibasics.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/Katie-2.jpeg 640w, https:\/\/www.skibasics.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/Katie-2-300x161.jpeg 300w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 640px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 640\/343;\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Waking up Christmas morning in Meribel, with the snow-covered mountains was absolutely magical (even if we were waking up for work!!).\u00a0 I was one of the few chalets whose guests hadn\u2019t been impacted by the UK travel ban. After cooking Christmas breakfast for guests, the whole team went to LDV (a bar in Meribel Village) where Ski Basics had organised for us to exchange Secret Santa gifts over glasses of prosecco.
