There are two main ways to book a chalet ski holiday. You can book a package with a large tour operator, where flights, transfers and accommodation come as one bundle. Or you can book with an independent chalet company, a smaller, resort-based business that runs its own chalets and builds the holiday around you.<\/p>\n

Both have their place. This guide compares them on flexibility, value, service and peace of mind, so you can decide which suits your group. We’re an independent chalet company ourselves, and have been in Meribel for more than 25 years, so we’ve tried to be honest about the trade-offs too.<\/p>\n
