About The Producer Clos Aguilem
When independent winemaker Jean-Charles Auffret, set up the domaine in 2015, his dream was to create the most respectful expression of the Terasses du Larzac terroirs. Inspired by the desire to respect the vines, soil and biodiversity. Jean-Charles Auffret is a winegrower committed to organic viticulture. The Clos Aguilem vineyard is nestled in the appellation of Terrasses du Larzac and the 23 plots that make up 13.5 hectares of vines are spread across 7 communes and 4 different types of soil. All these nuances contribute to the unique style of the cuvées.
