Sustainability advances at Sailure Express Mid-Station

The Saulire Express gondola lift is now home to a solar power station comprising 182 solar panels and a surface area of 400 m2.

A unique project for France and the alps, using cutting edge technology. Its 149 solar cells can produce energy on both sides thanks to the reflection of the snow in winter and the “albedo” effect, allowing them to absorb more light.
